CK  respects the privacy of all of our users and strives to offer every user a safe customer experience. With this Privacy Notice we want to tell you about what data we collect when you use our products and services, and how we use and handle this data.

 

USING OUR SERVICES

 

When you use CK  services, we collect your performance data.  At no time is any Personal Identifiable Information (PII) collected. The data is used only to provide the services required on the contract.  We may use the data in research and development work to improve training effectiveness and efficiency.

 

Performance Data: Including but not limited to Shots, Hits, Misses, Speed, Penalties, Firing Position, etc.

Biometric Data: Includes but not limited to HR, HRV, BPV and GSR, nearly any 3rd party device synced to the CK system can pull the 3rd party device data.

 

CK  has customers all over the world with varying data storage requirements. Your data is stored on a CK server which is either at the location defined in the contract or backed up to a CK server in Sterling, Virginia.  When data required in the contract must be transferred, it is done only for the purpose of providing the service on contract either location to location or location to CK headquarters. Your user data is never disclosed, given or sold to any third parties.  It is only provided to the agency that included the requirement in the contract.

 

NO COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

 

When you create a user ID for CK  services, we ask for some personal information, for example, your basic bio-data (e.g., height, weight, gender and age).  This data is tied to an anonymous user ID and directly related to the user. We need this information in order to provide you with a personalized experience of our services. For example, as the goal becomes more autonomous instruction, the systems must know height from the earth, handedness and eye dominance to accurately forecast shooter proficiency information.

 

STORAGE AND ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

 

When accessing CK ’s services, customers can manage their performance data. We recommend that you check the accuracy of your information occasionally and correct it whenever necessary. Both CK and the customer are responsible for the accuracy of the information captured. For example, if trainees are not logging in properly or shooting under default user numbers the data will be credited to incorrect or untraceable user fields.

 

YOUR RIGHTS

 

You always have the right to access your training data. In some of the services, direct access to your training data is possible.  When necessary, our remote support can assist you and deliver a copy of your training information in Excel or CSV.

 

You have the right to object to the storing of your training data for these purposes. However, the data used in our research and development work is anonymized and cannot be associated to any individual. This type of processing of anonymized data is vital for us to develop and offer you cutting edge training plans, media and data analysis.

 

You have the right to have any of your information corrected or deleted either by doing it directly yourself with CK support service or by sending a request of the changes.  If you want to have your user information deleted, we will delete your user credentials and all information and data pertaining to you. This includes data in all CK services that you have used. Any deleted data is not retrievable. After we have deleted your information, you can only use the service by creating a new user account.

 

You can request that the handling of your information be restricted to only certain DoD or civilian institutions. In some cases, certain units/groups may not wish to have their training data shared with or measured against other military or civilian units.

 

You have the right to receive your information from CK’s systems in a machine-readable format.  Handling of your data is based on your consent and on the execution of the contract.  The right to data portability applies to the contract terms and that data is partially provided by you and partially captured during your training sessions.

 

You can also request the transfer of your information to a third party. CK can transfer your data to any third party as defined in the contract.  However, CKis not responsible for the third party’s system’s ability to process the information in the format that is used for the transfer. Data can be transferred into Excel, CSV and PDF formats.

 

CK  has never and does not sell or give customer data to any third parties for any purposes.
